We collect or use the following personal information for organizing and informing you about advanced training, to claim Gift Aid, to inform you about group events and mailing the group magazine:
- Names and contact details
- First line of address and postcode
- Year of birth ( Date of birth required for 25 year olds or under )
- Records of meetings and decisions
- Payment details (including card or bank information for transfers and direct debits)
- Records of consent, where appropriate for Training, Gift Aid, or Group communication purposes.

Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information is for organizing and informing you about advanced training, to claim gift aid, to inform you about group events and mailing you the group magazine are:
- Consent – we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- We collect and use information to benefit members by organising advanced training, supplying information regarding Group events, claiming gift aid and distribution of the Group quarterly newsletter.

- Directly from you
- Publicly available sources, DVLA etc..
How long we keep information
We keep your personal information while you are a paid up or honorary or life member of West Yorkshire Rospa Advanced Drivers and Riders. It may be necessary to keep some of your information longer for gift aid purposes, but it will be deleted immediately at your request or after 7 years.
